The End Of An Era....

So I guess that many of you have heard the news of Bill O'Reilly being fired today for his past transgressions. I watched his show most nights and enjoyed it much of the time, but when the advertisers started leaving like cockroaches do when the lights turn on I knew that his days were numbered.

What are your thoughts and will you still continue to watch his replacement Tucker Carlson ??

Never watched his show, but I enjoyed his guest appearances.

Sport/Marshall....I don't post personal gun pictures on KT or any site, for any reason. Never have/never will. Taking IP risk is for those that choose to do so, I don't.

If you have a problem with that, choose a orifice.
End of subject.

I actually enjoyed Orielly early on but felt he got pretty smug and overbearing as time went on. I do enjoy watching Tucker Carlson much more but I'm not sure how long he can last...are there enough stupid progressives to provide for years of fodder?! Never mind that, he'll be around for awhile.

Never liked him. Too smug.

Tucker is ok, but he is a little full of himself.

Tomi .... (don't get me started)

Tucker seems to get into it with most of his guests. Fifteens minutes in and my blood pressure is raising and I end up changing the channel. I tend to shy away from confrontation as most of you know....

Wife and I often watch Fox News in the evening. Well... it's on but we're usually surfing the Net with iPads, playing with our new puppy and what all else... so sorta kinda watching TV.

We watched the Factor a couple times a week. It was reported that the Factor was the most watched cable news show for 16 years. That's pretty impressive and won't be easily replaced.

The entire evening lineup has changed. Gretta and Megyn gone. Hannity moved to 10EST, now O'Rielly gone.

I've pretty much liked all the hosts, but I wish they wouldn't invite so many left-wing kooks to babble their idiocy in the pursuit of being "fair and balanced". What's balanced about unbalanced liberal kooks spewing tripe? Just a waste of airtime.

Yes O'reilly was a little smug but I watched him often. I felt his opinions were honest. Where as it seems CNN and MSNBC and other liberal owned news medias are pure propaganda and lies.It is getting really difficult to find honest reporting. I may just go back to watching more sports center. I think my blood pressure was better before I started worrying about was really going on in the world.

I liked the guy, and hope he does well. He'll get a good chunk of change from Fox, then he'll move on to some cable station or another medium, and he'll clean up there.

What's the big deal, anyway? He called a woman "brown sugar?" I sometimes call ladies sugar or sweetie. Sometimes a lady might call me honey. Y'know what? I think it's nice.

This is just another take on the whole Trump witch hunt. So what if some women will let a famous guy touch their p... p... private parts? I seem to recall some time in the past having come into contact with one of those things, and it doesn't make me a bad person.

In fact, if you've never used a term of endearment towards a person of the opposite sex or had one of them want you to touch their naughty bits, then YOU'RE the strange one.

Sean Spicer has been less than impressive.

I'm thinking White House Press Secretary O'Reilly would be quite interesting...
