After starting the cure-dry of my Gabagool (aka Capicola) I started to watch the Soprano Series again. Those people loved food.
Anybody ever make Baked Ziti? Going over the recipe and its ingredients it sure looks a lot like Lasagna (albeit with a different pasta). I'm going to get some started today, if I can get out and pick up some ricotta cheese.
Sure, all the time. What I do is make Ziti with meatballs & sausage and when done with dinner I take what's left ( I slice the meatballs and sausage up thin) and put it in a casserole dish, the next night I top with cheese and bake.
Montana Resident I may disagree with some of your politics but I agree with your food groups, my stomach starts talking to me every time you post one of your recipes!
Nasty weather and hazardous driving. One wreck, and it looked like a bad one. But I got the ingredients. It's going to be Baked Zita w/ Sausage tonight.
I took another look at it, and damn that is a lot of Ziti. So most of it went into the freezer. Way to much to eat over a period of a few days. I can say, it is good in a bowl and is finger licking good too.
