Finally made it to the range last Friday to try out the new Hogue Grips I got for my Micro 9. I REALLY like them. Feels really good in the hand and improves my grip and control while firing. I've been carrying it last few days with different shirts, vests etc and have not noticed any issues with them yet. Very reasonably priced also.
My LGS has this particular model you have on the picture. Those grips are really nice. And I think you are right about the thickness. Kimber brand seems to be thin on the upper part the has this swell at the bottom.
I would like a set of them for mine but would only get them if they came in the Rosewood, I have the two-tone M9 and I think the Rosewood grips really sets it off.
NOOOO. Lol. They would have to be the real rosewood grips with the redish brown tint to them.
Actually when I bought my two-tone M9 it was the only one my LGS had and one of the grips had an almost black tint to it and I didn't like it. We called Kimber and they said to go ahead and buy the gun and they would send me a new set of grips free of charge. They did and I thought that was pretty good of them. They made a good first impression with their customer service with me.
