Winchester PDX1 aka "the good stuff"

I've been trying some different types of ammo out in my new Ruger Mini 30 over the past few months. I've never owned anything chambered for 7.62x39 so some of the offerings are new for me. To the rifles credit she's run most everything I've tried really well. The only snags were with some PPU RNFP, that cartridge being a shorter than standard length. Had a few instances where the first round didn't want to chamber with just the spring pressure. Other than that it too ran fine.
Today I tried out some of the PDX1, it's by far the smoothest cycling of anything I've tried. Really clean too and from what my AK friend told me it's equal if not better than the CorBon hollow point offering in this caliber performance wise. This runs $6.00-$8.00 or so less than the CorBon/box. The loose group is me not the rifle :-) Target was at 25 yards.

1280 rounds for $275.00

I like shooting this ammunition out of my Chinese SKS. Very accurate and consistant, all brass but it is Berdan primed so I do not reload it. Also it is corrosive so I immediately spray the chamber and barrel when I am done shooting for that day with window cleaner (ammonia). Then I clean it as usual.
