Talking Cci - pistol match .22 lr

Lot's of folks are always asking about .22 pistol ammo. Well here's some that I really like. Midway USA has CCI-Pistol Match on clearance for $5.21 a box. That's pretty good for this ammo. MSRP is $11.99 and I have bought it in the past at $9.99 a box.

I'm not trying to do an advertisement for MW or CCI ....I use this ammo and have for years. I love it. I have found it to be very accurate and clean shooting. I have two Ruger MK IIs, and a Walther P-22 that my wife shoots and the CCI-PM runs great in all of them. It also shoots very well in my rifles. My shooting buddy shoots it in his S&W 617 .22 revolver with excellent results.

I know all .22 guns are different and you often have to try several brands, speeds, and bullet weights to find what your gun likes best.
I promise you this ammo is at least worth a try.

I placed an order for 1000 rds last night to add to the 3000 in my ammo cabinet. I put my money where my mouth is ...

When you find what you like, stock up on that LOT NUMBER. The next lot number can be quite different.

Very true ....but that is exactly why I have recommended this ammo...very consistent. I have used it to test guns, scopes and for Bullseye competition.

I've also found Lapua Pistol King to be consistent box after box. I shoot a lot of .22 and don't really mind paying a little more for the good stuff. But I always look for sales, deals, coupons and rebates on stuff like the CCI-PM on clearance. I hope I have help someone else find the "good stuff" for their gun.

I have always had great luck with CCI Mini-Mags, in my Sig & Kimber 1911 22LR conversions. I was told they typically need a little more zip than the lighter loads provide. Maybe I should give the PM's a try.

Anything works in my Ruger 10-22 rifle. The Sig & Kimber conversion kits will occasionally fail to cycle with the bulk ammo. But I have never had a failure of any kind with CCI Mini-Mag, so I just go with that.

I really love to shoot .22s ...have since I was 8 yrs. old. I have three auto pistols, three auto rifles and a single shot Winchester I got for that 8th birthday.

I was looking at a S&W 617, 6" revolver at Bud's last night. Sweet but pricey. So what did you get? 12 rounder?...sounds interesting. I have a huge back stock of .22 ammo now....14,000 rounds of a little bit of every kind...cheapo Mexican stuff to the some high end Eley. But the CCI-PM is my favorite for my handguns. I couldn't pass up this sale.
$5.21 a box for match grade is pretty good.
