Need reloading data for Bullseye w/ 230 gr. bullets

I am interested in finding reloading data using Bullseye powder with 230 gr. FMJ bullets. I would like to find loads yielding muzzle velocities from 750 fps to 900 fps in a 5" barrel. Hoping to find a reloader on Kimber Talk who can help me with the appropriate data.

The Lee book is 5 grains at 749fps and 5.7 max at 840fps. For jacketed bullets. Drop that 10% for lead loading
Min OAL 1.260 if loading longer test chambering with your barrel.

Thanks!

That's the info I really need. Does anyone know if the max load given is really the max for Bullseye and 230 gr. bullets?

FYI ....The Hornady Book 9th ed. Doesn't list a load for Bullseye and jacketed bullets. It shows 230grn, LRN ...4.4 grn (750fps) to 5.5 grn (max) for (900fps).

My pet load of 5.5 grn, Win 231, 230 grn FMJ, (775fps) has worked well in many 1911s over the years. I've shot this load for IPSC and NRA Bullseye. Just another option for you.

I think that's lead data not FMJ

The source of this data was supposed to be from Alliant. Seems to me bullseye powder is better suited for LSWC than jacketed. There is a lot of powder choices for jacketed that are better than Bullseye. Of course if your trying to use up some powder that is different. Be safe and start out lower than recommended.

You guessed why I'm asking

Right on the nose. I have a lot of Bullseye I'd like to use up. And I'm trying to decide what powder I'm going to replace it with. I want something that will give me an accurate load with 230 gr. FMJ bullets at a muzzle velocity of 750 fps out of a 5" barrel.

I did some further reading I guess that recipe is for a shorter cartridge. So please disregard my recipe for the fmj bullets!
