Have you tried Xtreme plated bullets? They are cheaper then Barry's. Also I switched to the SNS Casting coated hard cast bullets which are $32 for 500 125 grain bullets in 9mm. They shoot awesome and are much cheaper to load. They run .001 bigger on size .356 and use less powder for the same velocities. No barrel leading and actually cleaner bores than with the plated. They can be pushed to 1500 fps also. (Being 18 brn and coated)

Wow! That would be quite a heavy load for me. My best load with this 115gr 9mm Berry's bullet and HP-38 is 4.1gr. I've shot well at 3.8gr and 3.9gr. Really hard shooting when I went above 4.5gr.

Max load per Hodgdon at 1.10" COL is 4.8gr. I exceeded that once...4.9gr, but never did it again, despite taking COL to 1.125".

Define good? Accuracy at 25/50 yards?
Also, check out Precision Delta jacketed bullets which are often the same price, or lower, than plated and are certainly more accurate.
PD 115gn JRN: $83/1000 when you buy 2000 or more
PD 115gn JHP: $85/1000 when you 2000 or more.
I am happy for spend $2 more per 1000 bullets for the more accurate JHP.
