Where to sell this gun?

I'm currently having lots of medical bills and plan on selling my kimber along with a few other weapons(will buy another later in year when jobs more steady) and wanting to avoid pawn shops or gun stores as a personal sale would be be better. It's the kimber custom 2019 holiday edition night star lw 1911 and also a ruger security 9 with laser sight. Both have less than 200 rounds and the kimber was 620 new and ruger 370(with the laser). Love them just sadly lifes been rough and havent been online as much. I may list it gunbid site but checking if members sell trade and buy here.

Members with established reputations do buy and sell guns on the forum but for the most part these are people that have been here for years. I'd suggest you try selling on gunbroker or armslist and not the Kimber Talk forum.

Yeah I was gonna try gun broker. I think local store has it where I can sell that day for their price or sell for my price. Wonder if asking 500 for a gun that cost about 610 before tax is fair if it has less than 200 rounds through it? Just advice for when I go to gun broker or the local store

I can't quote you prices on used guns, check gunbroker and see what they're selling for there, that should put you in the ballpark.

I agree with Chuck. I will add, sadly the stainless version of your pistol has been "On Sale" for well under $500 before taxes. The email sale I got it was at $469. Going to be a tough sale IMO. Good luck.

My advice is regarding anyone who is looking for any kind of help on a forum. ADD YOUR CITY TO YOUR PROFILE! It doesn't matter if you have a maintenance issue, seeking help with a problem, looking for a good place to shoot, or trying to sell something, if you're secretive, most people won't want to go out of their way to help.

+ 1 on Rusty's "add your city" comment.

The only info I can add is that are a ton of those on Gunbroker now. If you set a "Buy it Now" price low enough, you might get lucky, but Gunbroker and shipping costs are going to reduce your net take. $500 is too high.
