9mm, but when the 22lr slide arrives, it might be 22lr going forward.

I would have to say 45 and 38 Super. The revolvers come out periodically, but mostly shoot some variation of a 1911

For me it's the .22LR. I bought a SR22 pistol that is just about the size of a Commander. I think my biggest problem is "trigger control." You can get a lot of practice in and hone your skills with a .22 pistol.

...my previous response was for that heathen smokeless powders that will never catch on... ...regarding Oklahomabound, SASSlife, he shoots .38 Special out of 2 1851 Richards-Mason Navy Colt Conversion pistols and a Marlin lever Rifle; as well as 12 gauge twice barrel coach gun; all loaded plumb full with slight compression Holy Black Powder Goex Ffg.
