Shooting rock chucks suppressed really works....for us, not so much for the chucks. They hardly know we're about, let alone freaked out by gunfire.
My buddy Gary with his Ruger MK-III with a Tactical Solutions upper, optic and suppressor recently having his way with the local chucks.
He also shoots CCI sub-sonic with very good results. It cycles the MK-III action too. Personally, I prefer a HV WW Power Point un-suppressed...it really puts the hurt on large rodents out of my pistols or one of my 10-22's. Having choices is the best thing though!
