Winchester Service Grade

Does any of you know about this type of ammo? I found it for $15.00 a box of 50

I purchased 500rounds of this same ammo, and out of one box ,four rounds failed to go boom, after a nice dent was placed into the primer.
Thinking about giving the rest of them away at Christmas.

I'd guess that they're WWII surplus, I've shot tons of WWII .30-06 with no problems.

It is surplus GI ball ammo. Be careful, depending when it was made it could have corrosive primers. To be safe, clean your pistol ASAP after firing.

Oh no, I passed, I just saw a descent price but had no experience with this "service grade", glad you folks clued me in. The wait paid off do to Freedom having there sale yesterday. Thanks again.
