Evo mags

Does anyone know for Sure if All Mags: EVO 9mm and Micro 9 are Interchangeable, I have Heard Yes from the Internet and Kimber stated they have Not been Tested by Kimber? They sure Look alike, would be Nice to Know for sure?, I only want to Use what I know is Made for the Right Gun and Not Mix if Not sure.

Kimber mags

Well, just recently I was in my LGS and looked at their Kimber magazines on the rack. The latest Micro 9, 6 round flat bottomed mag, says on the package "Micro 9/EVO" the extended mags are not labelled as such, Micro 9 extended mags say Micro 9 and EVO packaging say EVO. I went ahead and bought two 6 rd Micro 9/EVO mags and they seem to work fine. I did NOT buy the Micro 9 extended mag as there was a separate supply of extended that say "EVO"..Don't help much, but I bet the extended works in both!

8 Rd, Micro9 Mags work fine in Evo

I bought 3 of the 8 Rd, Micro9 Mags part #1200529A.
I cycled mags fully loaded with snap caps multiple times with no problems and then test fired with real ammo. No problems at all. My hand is too small to get any grip advantage of longer mag but mags work great.

Holster EVO

Does anyone know if the Galco Light Shoulder Holster will Fit the EVO?, Not sure which to get? Some say the Glock 42 , some say Glock 43 holster, Once you open Package can Not Return. Any Sugestions which to get or do you know of a Shoulder Holster that will Fit. Kimber does Not have any for this EVO. Thanks

I called kimber and they stated they will not work on an evo. Has anyone tried the 7 round extended mags.

I have seen a post or two on more than one forum that they seem to work fine. Not sure why Kimber is saying no. Maybe they did some longer term testing with them and problems developed.

Mags

FYI: I Purchased two Mags Listed as EVO from Kimber, I received them and they are the same, Nothing on the Mags that say EVO 9MM.
So the same Question how do you tell them Apart?
