I want a new EVO and I noticed that they are now going to offer the Raptor EVO.
Any word when they will start shipping or if they are out yet ?

I noticed in the Kimber specs that the grips and back strap are made of "millennium wood"? I've never heard of that, I'm wondering if it's a laminate of some type? I haven't looked in a while but I seem to recall the grips on the other Raptors were made of Zebra wood which is a real wood.
Orange may be the new black for some but to me that orange on those EVO grips is the new FUGLY. At $949.00 msrp (that's FUGLY too), I'll give the kids at Kimber credit for not being shy, dang!

As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have sold custom longbows for years...and the two that sold the fastest were a hideous green one we jokingly called the green hornet, and a high gloss purple one we called "purple haze".

I wouldn't have been caught dead in the woods with either of them but just the right person flipped over them at first sight, and GONE.

It does seem to be the trend lately the ugly the color the faster it sells, at least that's how it's been in my shop.
