I haven't messed with mine. I did put ( I know I know) at Hogue grip on it. The G10 grips were just a little abrasive to me and I like the finger groove and palm swell on the Hogue. Kimber does have the Evo options on the site now, at first they weren't available.
The Hogue website doesn't have any grips listed for the Evo. Did you mean the Micro 9? If yes, did they fit without any 'fitting'?

I have used 1/16" wrench, also, and it works on my EVO SP CDP.
Interesting. The screw head in my CDP must have crud in it, I had to tap the 1.5mm wrench into it. I didn't realize it is actually smaller than the 1/16".

No I mean the Evo. I just used the small grip, I think it is called the Junior? It was tight, and needed the bottom trimmed, but between the tightness and the G10 grips that sucker has not budged at all.

KC - I'm confused. Your post says you put a Hogue grip on.

I didn't mess with the Kimber grips, they are as purchased. I put a slip on Hogue grip over them. "Hand alls" I believe they call them, but mine was a small size I could barely get on.
