Ed Brown Kobra Carry Perfection

SOLD SOLD SOLD Mods Please Lock This Up
WTS Ed Brown Kobra Carry
Make: Ed Brown
Model: Kobra Carry
Location: Mokena
Price: SOLD
Other info: Up for sale is on of the is the pistol that got me into semi custom 1911's! I have a Ed Brown Kobra Carry! Its got a naked slide (which I prefer) and the older scroll marks from Brown (which I also like best). This pistol was sent back to EB for a full revamp around 6 months ago! I had them replace all springs, as well as pins, links, etc... I also had them reverse flush cut the barrel and put a 14 degree target crown on it! They serrated the top of the slide and refinished it in there legendary glass bead blast SS finish! Probably my most elegant looking pistol! I got all new paper work with her as well a spec sheet showing all the work done when it was there... $450 plus). The pistol is amazing and I wouldnt hesitate to say, its the best trigger of all my 1911's. Seriously, its that good! Its also accurate and I shoot this particular gun better than any of my others. I will confidently say, anyone who gets this piece will not be disappointed!

To add to that, I'm letting it go for close to a grand under what it would cost you to buy it new from EB. I would prefer to keep the Wicked grips and screws its pictured with (I have the original wood and hex grip screws). Since Ed Strange limits his production on 1911 grips to 50, those grips are no longer able to be replaced. If its a deal breaker, I am willing to have a conversation about them and try to work out a deal

PM with any and all questions

No trades please, only reason I am selling any of these pistols is I have to pay for my CCP.

**IMPORTANT, This pistol maybe sold already, I am waiting on a return call from a guy who shoots in my club. He has coveted this pistol for the last 5 months so I told him I would let him know when I was selling. I did want to list it as that deal may not go through.**

That local deal takes priority over any claim on the forums this is listed on. Thanks for understanding

OK now that one made me pee a little! I don't love the grips so would not be a problem for you to keep them.

That's the pistol at the VERY TOP of my wish list. Absolutely beautiful. This is a VERY tempting offer for me, but crappy timing as I don't really have the extra $$ right now....

I predict this pistol will be dancing in my dreams tonight.

Outstanding news! You could not have found a nicer buyer, nor one that is more deserving. Good for her, can't wait to read how she loves it!

That was what I thought the Ed Brown that I would buy would look like. Loved it, just could not scrape together enough $$ right here at Christmas. I doubt I will ever purchase a new one so a deal like you have would be what I was looking for.
