For Sale regulations-are there any?

I am new to the forum having just recently purchased a Micro 9, which btw, I love.

I belong to several shooting forums and they have Buy/Sell/Trade threads as does Kimber Talk. However, they post who can and cannot post guns for sale via regulations, such as number of days on the forum or number of posts, etc. Does Kimber Talk Forum have any such regulations?

I ask because I have 4 guns I would like to post for sale, which are posted on other forums. The guns are not Kimbers, but rather a Beretta 9000S, Charter Arms Undercover, Bersa Thunder 22 and KelTec Sub 2000 for the Beretta 92 magazines.

Can I post these for sale or do I have to meet some minimum requirement before I can do so.

I won't presume that there are no regs and post and then ask for forgiveness. I like to follow rules, it keeps things orderly.

My post was not a veiled way of putting them up for sale. When I do post them there will be an accurate description and photos attached.

However, I am getting the impression that there are no specific regulations that must be followed or I would have heard from an administrator, or have I heard from one.

BTW, I have yearned for years for a Kimber and now I have one. What a sweet gun.

I do not know if any regulations. We have had people with their only posts being for sale items so I say go for it. We are pretty mellow around here.

Some forums have very strict rules for selling, Smith & Wesson Forum comes to mind. I guess when Chuck gets back he will help us. I would call it more "Guidelines" instead of "Rules."

There are no rules that I can find that say that you can't so go for it.

Firearms Only
Buy, Sell, Trade: Firearms (Buyer beware, KimberTalk.com will not be responsible for any transaction!)

I'll take a w.a.g on what Chuck may say as he has said it many many times in the past........

"Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois. People posting to the forum for the first time usually don't have much luck selling stuff especially guns."

Good luck with the sale.....

I understand what you mean. If people don't know me or my reputation, they may not want to take a chance buying from me.
However, I can supply references from another site where I have been a long standing member and have sold there with success. One such site is FloridaShootersNetwork.com (FSN) where my screen name is "handlebar". Here is a picture as to why I use that name.

As long as you're not trying to sell commercially on the forum you're more then welcome to list anything you wish to sell. Please use the appropriate sub forum to list your items. The more active you become the better the chance you have of selling stuff. I will say up front that because we've had some would be scammers our members tend to avoid dealing with people just joining the forum to sell stuff.

If you have any questions feel free to ask, you can either post them or PM me.
