For My Buddy Marshall

Check it out Marshall. Got to say I think I was pretty bad ass with this old school revolver today. Only ammo they had was Magtech Cowboy Action lead flat nose that was $36.00 for a box of 50. I've had this revolver a long time. If you arrive at my house unannounced when I answer the door you may see it in my hand by my side, if it is dark it WILL be the first thing you see when I open the door. You can try me but I advise against it.
First 6 rounds touching, 10 yards, single action pretty quick.

Smith & Wesson Model 24-3 for those that don't know .44special.

I have a really nice S&W Model 25 and have shot it exactly six rounds. Granted, I am a 1911 guy in .45aacp, just as God intended.

While shooting the S&W is enjoyable as well as being accurate, I resent having to pay the large outlay for .45 Long Colt. The one box of ammo I have for it cost me $40.34 for 50 rounds and that was lead rounds and not FMJ or JHP.

There are times when cost is a factor and I can shoot .45acp for a lot less money.

However under no circumstance would I shoot Mr Marshall. He is intelligent, pleasant, humorous and a man that would be enjoyable as a neighbor, shooting partner, drinking buddy, a man you could always trust to have your back but one that would never go chasing women with me.

Do you cast and reload? If not, there has to be someone here who has a 429421 bullet mold...

Why thanks Fan...My chasing women days are long gone, but occasionally I do have one that chases me...

Unfortunately it's down the hallway and it never ends well for Marshall. ..

Nope, I do not reload and could not justify doing so. I have guns in many calibers and most are never fired. In fact, I have a lot of .40 S&W rounds here and two guns of that caliber that have never been fired. Just not any need to do so.

My love is the .45acp round and I have many thousands of rounds for it, all of which are factory rounds. Every few days, I buy another few hundred rounds so I always have plenty to use.

I gave some consideration to reloading in the past. Figuring the cost of equipment, materials and my time, it just does not justify me doing so. For some, it may be beneficial and a good friend is disabled and reloads for lack of anything else to do. Yet I do not shoot reloads in my firearms either due to the risk of possible damage to guns or myself. Warranties on guns will not cover damage from reload ammo.
