WTB - Kimber Classic Carry Pro (NIB)

Bought a LNIB CCP w/G-10 grips

Seeking a Kimber Master Dealer within 75 miles of Atlanta.

CCP with or 'maybe' without Bone Grips.
_______________________________________________

Might consider a 'boneless' (LNIB) CCP from a KT member w/Georgia I.D., in addition to a (NIB) CCP w/Bone.

Thanks...

I suppose you have checked Sandy Springs Gun Club? Not been there in a while but they used to have a good selection of Kimber's.

Are you opposed to buying online? GunBroker has about 12 Classic Carry Pro's listed for auction. I did not see any being sold in Georgia but there was one in Alabama and Florida. A few were even under MSRP which is $1,785.00 by the way.

I know the few members that own the CCP love them and I doubt would want to sell it. Pretty sure my buddy Chuck has a CCP.

Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna has the largest selection of Kimbers I've seen in the Atlanta area. I was just there today.

Edit: I just remembered seeing one in the case at AO. It had the ivory/bone grips.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Looking to 'grip & point' a CCP first before buying into a minimal discounted retail market.
On 'trades' I've heard about, from Kimber dealer employees and 'as offered' within the below ARMSLIST link, CCP's are not holding an expected and reasonable used Kimber value.

ARMSLIST - For Sale: Kimber Classic Carry Pro .45

I also understand this price of $1150. is very close to Master Dealer cost for a G10 CCP.

Maybe some folk can deal with such an excessive value loss, not including me.

Anyway, I need to fondle one first.

How do you guys feel about this <$$$> risk and would you purchase a CCP on line or at a LGS?

A heads up on the Classic Carry Pro, look for old stock when shopping for them. They originally came with a set of giraffe bone grips, Kimber later changed over to Ivory G10 grips. The giraffe bone grips sell in Kimbers store for $379.95, guess which gun you want?

Here's my Classic Carry Pro with the bone grips.

Here are the giraffe bone grips with my elephant ivory grips

The newer ones with a 1785 msrp dosnt have the bone grips like mine and Chucks, They where priced at just over 2000 with the bone grips.

I knew the grips made a difference but I didn't know how much. I kind of understand wanting to touch one before you buy, I wanted to do that when I was looking to purchase the Gold Combat LE but was never able to find one in a store within a 200 mile drive.
I guess it will boil down to how bad he wants a CCP.
