I've had a set for a couple of years now and I've been very happy with them. $35.77 is about $15.00 cheaper then I originally paid for mine.

The link takes you to Amazon where the price is $30.22 with free shipping. Think I’ll pick one up.

I looked hard at these, the Impact Sports and I really like them. But paid a little more and went with the Impact Pros. They have a higher protection rating. (higher db) I wanted them for USPSA shooting matches where there's a lot of shooting going on and I need to hear range commands. My ears ring very bad at times and felt like I wanted and needed the higher protection.

I have a pair of electronic Peltors but I just can't get a good fit with them ... too much leakage around the ear cups. Hopefully one of my shooting buds can use them.

Purple ?? My Pros are Camo Green & Grey, much more manly.

The color doesn't bother me and I keep a couple of sets of disposable foam ear plugs in my range bag to wear under the muffs when necessary.

Color me purple. I have been wanting a new set of ear muffs for awhile now. I ordered a pair on the testimony of Chuck. Must be pretty good if he is wanting a second pair. Suppose to arrive on the 13th. I am crate training my pup dog so now I can go to the range and not worry about Kimberly taking a dump in the house when I leave. She has abandonment issues (rescue dog) always drops a load if I leave her at home. That is probably more info than anybody wanted.

Yeah ... I keep a plastic jar full of foam plugs in my range bag too. Get'em cheap at CVS. But usually give them away to the newbies that show up at the range without anything for their ears. I hate them myself ... they make my ears itch. But when the guys around me are shooting big rifles I do break out a pair to put under my muffs.
