Ultra Mainspring

I am replacing my Mainspring housing on my CDP Ultra and decided to buy all the parts that go with it as well (spring, pins, etc.). I mistakenly ended up with a 21 pound mainspring rather than the 23 pound that comes with the gun. What are the benefits/drawbacks of going with the 21 vs. the 23?

It'll decrease the pressure of of your trigger pull, at the expense of decreasing the force with which the firing pin strikes the hammer. It's not a big chore to swap them out, so give it a try and see if you like the trigger and if it affects reliability.

Ultra Mainspring

Should not have any issues. I have ultra CDP with a Wilson combat 18# low power in my MSH. If you looking for aluminum MSH, best two on the market are vzgrips is my favorite at 6082 grade and the. Wilson combat at 7075 grade. Hogue are ok.
One trick to make sure your firing pin is hitting hard enough is use a number 2 pencil with eraser in and shoot it out. Or I use Pachmayr Widget, works great for reinstalling thumb safety and to test firing pin. Mine shoot out good 5feet.
