Question K6s grip removal

They didn't supply a wrench with new pistol. I have custom grips coming but don't know how to remove rubber grips. Thanks

Welcome to KT from Northeast, Pa. I don't own a K6s but it looks like you just have to remove the Allen/hex head screw. I'm sure someone who owns one could tell you the exact size.

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois Tom T, I'm sorry I have yet to see a K6 in a LGS. How about stopping by our "New Member Introduction" sub forum and introducing yourself to the membership?

Thanks

Yes, there is a tiny allen screw but appears to have a nylon plug in the center of it. I'll just wait for the new grip and compare.

Just remove the screw and wiggle the stock grips off of the run. easy peasy! Be sure to post pics of your new grips. Where are you getting them from???

OK it's off

There was a drop of glue or something in the allen head. I cleaned it out with an ice pick. Then a 3/32 allen wrench worked fine. Now I have to wait until thursday for the Rosewood grips to arrive.

I bought them on EBay from Grips-N-More. I just noticed in the pic that they are not etched (or whatever it's called). Oh well, I'll send installed picture next week.

Just checked out their ebay store. Your k6s is going to look great with those grips. Can't wait to see the pics.

Glad you figured it out. The factory grips are nice as relates to recoil, but not too purdy........
