Slide Spring: How Long Has It Taken You?

So far it's taken me 30 minutes to attempt to reinstall the -##%!!%# **#%>+^!! GUIDE ROD and SPRING on my Micro 9!!

I've done it before. Just watched a YouTube video again... it looks to easy. Was just going to do a "quick clean" before hitting the range for an hour before closing... Ain't going to happen! *%}*!!

(Needed to vent... thanks guys!)

... I get up to the last %#*!! MILLIMETER to slip it in... apparently I'm not getting the guide rod through the hole at the barrel end.

Problem solved... guide rod was (wait for it.... wait.... wait) UPSIDE DOWN!! O'dugh!! at least on one of my final exasperated attempts.

Hope this was entertaining and perhaps helps another.

I'm lost here. How is it that the guide rod can be installed upside down? That certainly is a curious situation...
