From fixed sight to adjustable...

Kimber TLE...installing a Kimber adjustable rear sight and Dawson fiber optic front. Little time on the mill machine. Anyone need a lightly used set of Kimber night sights?

The slot is where the Swartz firing pin block sits under the sight in case you have not seen it.

And like most of Kimbers blackened guns and small parts the slide is stainless.

I'll take the sights Mike. Let me know if you want some coin for them.

Thanks....

I would love to see the new sights on the TLE...

I show when I am done. Considering bead blasting the slide since I am likely going to machine bevel the bottom of slide and possibly do ball cuts.

Make me an offer...I am always needing to buy new end mills.

I'm looking to see if they are the same kind that would fit on my Ruger SR1911.

The front sight with fit for sure, but the rear sight slot looks a bit bigger /longer on my Ruger than on my Kimber.

Detent holes drilled. Decided not to do other slide cuts on this one.

Maybe someday it will get refinished in black nitride or DLC. Its a bit beat up...an old duty weapon.
