Slide lock pin issues

Has anyone had a problem with the slide lock pin coming out slightly when shooting? This of course causes FTE and FTF. Push the pin back in and all is ok. This seemed to happen with the original mag. The Kim-Pro Tac mags word perfectly. Also, does not happen all the time with the original mag. My guess, the mag is bad. Your thoughts! This on a Ultra CDP 11.

That's probably not enough info for an amateur like me to attempt to answer but if I had to guess my guess would be that your plunger tube is loose and needs to be re-staked.

It's the tube which holds the slide stop plunger, spring, and safety catch plunger on the other end. There is a chance that somehow the little plunger could be damaged but I would guess the loose tube first. If you look at the tiny tit that goes in with a spring action when you pop the slide stop pin in that will be what we are talking about. The tube houses these parts.

That's OK. I'm not too much on parts names myself. Let us know and maybe some experts can jump in.

Just out of curiosity I just saw where you had posted about movement in your ambi safety. You know that the plunger in the plunger tube also affects it too? Did you resolve that one? Could be related to the same plunger tube.

Never mind I saw where you had a defective part after reading last page. A gunsmith would have noticed I'm sure if the tube was loose I would think.

Have not had any problem with slide locking back other than on the last round. After 350 rounds, this only has happen twice and I believe with the original mag. Has not happened with my Kim-pro mags.
