Refinishing

Hey all, I want to send my Ultra Raptor in for refinishing, I got it used and their is some holster wear from the previous owner and a few small idiot scratches on it. Will Kimber refinish? or can you recommend someone? Any thoughts or advice will be appreciated. thanks. I live in Florida, so if anyone knows a local guy in the state, it may help

Kimber will refinish your gun but I don't know what they charge or how long it will take. Another option is to check your local gunsmiths, they should be able to tell you where you can get it refinished locally. Cerakoting is a popular finish that offers a great variety of colors.

I am sure Kimber would refinish it, But if your going to carry it you will end up doing the same thing to it . I purchased mine new and its showing wear on it. I did have one frame refinished because i didn't like the tan. I had it done in dark green and like it much better. It was Cerakote finish and I have been happy with it. I have touched up a couple spots with the chemical that turns metal black. works pretty good.

Gun is dirty but the finish hasn't shown any wear or chips at all.
