Ambi safety feels stiff, notchy

Just installed a Kimber ambi safety on my Pro Carry II. Safety works fine, but seems a bit stiff. When pushing it up, there is a spot about 1/2 way through that seems to catch a little. Didn't see any previous posts on this (though I did see several posts on ambi safety install which were very helpful). Any thoughts?

Took it to the range today and seems to have worked itself out. Feels fine now and operates well.

Take it to the range. It will probably work itself out.

I'll bet if he takes it to the range it will work itself out.

Sometimes just shooting and working the safety like maybe at the range will help it just work itself out.

Funny, funny guys. I'm definitely in the right place. BTW, awesome gun! Even makes me look good. It will now be my EDC.

What type of safety did you get?

Maybe take it back out and look to see where it is hanging up. Maybe some light filing to make the new safety look like the old one. Also check the spot on the safety where it makes contact with the plunger spring. There is a little detent there.

In post #2 he said "he took it to the range and it worked itself out, it feels fine and operates well."
