dumb question on ultra II

I am new to kimbers, so please forgive me if this sounds stupid.
I have read a lot about the Wilson Combat Flat Wire Recoil Spring Kits.
BUT, I have a "Ultra Crimson Carry II" which I understand takes a 3 inch slide spring.
All I have seen for the Wilson Combat Flat Wire Recoil Spring Kits are 4 inch kits.
So, am I screwed?
or do they make a smaller kit for the Ultra Carry II???? and if so, where can I find one??? (all I saw were 4 inch on the Wilson site).

AND....if it is available, how does this alter field stripping to clean it (I now use that little plastic tool shown below from NZD Performance)?

Sorry sir, Wilson Combat only makes flat wire springs for 4" and 5" 1911's. I have them in all of my guns, they are very smooth operating, have 10X the spring life of a round wire spring and allow me to break down my Pro size (4") guns without the use of any tools.

The NZD performance tool is awesome! It just does away with using the paper clip thingy. Prevents idiot marks.

Thumbs up for the NZD Performance tool. IMO, much easier than the wire.

Hey Bob, I am glad you asked that question because I found the same thing 4 and 5 inch only and then I forgot about it because I have a few hundred more rounds to go. I guess I will just buy me a new set from Kimber. Keep my money in the family.

The 1911 take down tools offered here aren't too bad either:

Bob, do me a favor and don't ever ask a question here again starting with "Dumb Question". There are no dumb questions only questions that we don't know the answer to and no one here will tell you to use the search button. Personally I can't stand the darn thing it never manages to find anything I'm looking for including my old posts.

I tried searching the term "Dumb Question" and it came up with this and it highlights it in red....
