1911 Shop Manual

Finally got my 1911 Shop Manual in the mail today. Thumbing through the manual there are some great diagrams and descriptions. Lots to learn.

I loaned mine to my brother. He was a Lt. In the army back in the 60's. He was always concerned about it going off at the wrong time. If you read that book it makes all the sense in the world and ole Moses was a genius.
Then and now. Have fun.

I was told by the publisher that book 2 was maybe more for the machinists. I didn't buy it but if you own a 1911, you should own this book# 1 at least.

Can you provide a source? Brownells?

Thanks!

Edit: Found it at Midway USA.

I've had this book for nearly 30 years, even before the internet. Way way back then, taking a 1911 completely apart was only doable with this complete benchmark manual.
