Re-Springing an Ultra Aegis

Hello KT - Kimber's website offers full assembly recoil setups for the Ultra Aegis - or - a three pack of [I assume] outer springs. About $50 for the complete assembly and $15 for the three pack of outers. No mention of the inner springs. Question: is it recommended to change out the inners? If so, where do you find them? Or, altogether, should I just buy the complete assembly. My Ultra Aegis functions very well right now...just looking to stock up my parts box. Thanks in advance, Oz.

I bought this kit for my UC Raptor so you may check with Midwsy to see if they have one for your Aegis..

Wolff Recoil Spring Set 1911 Kimber Ultra Carry

For some reason I believe the inner spring replacement is just like the firing pin spring & mainspring and is at 5K rounds..The manual doesn't say anything about the inner...

I have an Ultra Aegis and bought the 3pk you mention. I called Kimber and they told me to change 'em 1200 to 1500 rounds then after that replace the assembly which would be around 4800 rounds. My manual says 1800 for the outers but why push it. I'm going to print Marshall's post above and keep ir with my manual.
