Ultra Aegis

As most of you know I love my Ultra Aegis, I carry it daily.

I have 4,000+ rounds through it without a failure. Today I ran various self-defense loads, 124, 135, 147, Hornady, Federal, Magtech, Remington Gold, Speers Lawmen and all cycled perfectly. Until recently I carried 124 grain HydraShok and now carry Hornady Critical Defense 135's. I even loaded some mags with various grain weights and brands, just mixed and matched, no issues at all.

It's truly a gun I would trust my life with and I do everyday

Target was at 35 feet for these last few mags, double taps

I've had a used one followed by a new one. Never a problem or a minor issue myself.

But.....I don't have sellers remorse.

Sport/Marshall....I don't post personal gun pictures on KT or any site, for any reason. Never have/never will. Taking IP risk is for those that choose to do so, I don't.

If you have a problem with that, choose a orifice.
End of subject.

I love mine! Having said that, I'm thinking seriously about moving up to a .45.

I would say after 4000 rounds you should have confidence in that gun. That's a gun you want to carry.

Way to go azguy, Kimber says their guns are broken in by 500 rounds and they are. But it seem like something magical happens to them once they get a couple of thousand rounds through them.

My wife has a Pro carry Aegis. I’ve taken it apart and honed all the edges. It is one sweet shooting weapon. When I go to the range to just “shoot” it goes. I have a Sig P226 TacOps in 9mm and I think the Aegis is a smoother shooting weapon, and I like the Sig.

If I had to buy one or the other today, I would pick the Aegis. I can carry the Aegis and the Sig is not a EDC the way I have it rigged.
