Angry Need Help!

So I am new to this forum so let me apologize up front in case I do something wrong. I am on my second Kimber pistol. I had a Pro Carry II and now I have a Ultra Carry II. In addition to my Kimber's, I own Smith & Wesson, Sig Sauer, Springfield, Glock, and other pistols. My question to all you experienced Kimber users is this.

With both my Kimber pistols, the bullets eject straight back and hit me in the face, head, upper body, etc. Last week, two ejected bullets ended up in my shirt pocket. This does not happen with any of my other pistols. Is this a problem with me, the guns, something else?

I am laughing as I type this as it seems so silly however its happened with two pistols now so I thought it was time to find out.

Thanks

Fightrman

Call Kimber

We had a member complain about this, and a pocket shot is funny but a shell to the face sucks...

He called Kimber, sent in his firearm, and they fixed it with great care.

Give them a shout see what they can do for you!

Give them a chance to show you their famed customer service.

First welcome to the forum from Ohio! Hard to believe it's happening on two guns.

Welcome to the forum from StLou..
My PC2 45 has shot out like a bad burrito from day one and after a few thousand rounds it still does.
I don't mind it as much as my gf does when she wears v-necks and they enter the promised land.
If it bothers you call Kimber and see what they say..

Welcome to the forum, from Georgia.

Toward your question:

(1) yep, customer service is the best place to go

(2) IF (I don't mean to be insulting to an experience shooter) your wrists are not firm enough, the rearward movement of the slide will not be sufficient to cause the ejector to casing contact to propel the casing right/up away from you

(3) ammo is under powered and not forcing slide back with sufficient force (similar to #2 but for different reason)

(4) customer service may adjust or replace ejector.

Good luck.

If you are not limp wristing your Kimbers, I suggest that you give the Kimber Service Department a call. They can easily adjust the ejectors on your two Kimbers. They can make the empty casings drop in your back pocket instead of your shirt pocket!!!! Believe me, they will make it right to your satisfaction!!

I have a Stainless Pro Carry II. It hits me in the head about 3 times per range trip of 100 rounds. It seems easily fixed with expletives.
Lineman and Oldsoul like this.
