Working on trigger control

All pictures are at 50' on B-3 targets 10 round. Yes pushing left even though it was reasonably decent group. Remember on B-3 the black is 3.25"

Good shootin', MD. That's about the limit of what I can SEE at fifty feet.

Thank you Rusty. I'm still jerking first shot of each magazine.

That's good shooting, especially at 50'. I have to shoot at 30' or closer, otherwise I'm just slinging lead down range.

Nice shooting, I'm another one who's vision isn't great at a long distance.

Try a Red Dot. It's a different concept, focusing on your target and letting the dot float over your target. It took me a couple of weeks to get really comfortable. Now 2 of my 3 guns have optics, the third has a light/laser.

Great shooting man! What pistol were you using (I'm presuming a 1911) and has there been any work done to the trigger?

It's a pro carry II with no work at all done except mounting a Burris FF3 optic. Trigger was measured on a digital scale at 6.2#. I'm leaving it at that because this will be my EDC.

I do plan on switching the sight to a Milled mount RMR and installing a curved mainspring housing/magwell by Wilson Combat this winter.

Fine looking PRO Carry II. I know you mentioned she'll be an EDC so you wanted to keep the 6+ # trigger pull but I'll bet if you drop to 4#s or so your accuracy will improve? For what it's worth the Les Baer site says their 4 1/2" barrel 3k pistols can shoot 3" groups at 50'. You're not far from that as it is so think "glass half full" kinda thoughts :-)
