New To 1911s

Just picked up my first 1911. I've been interested in the platform for years and finally took the plunge. I did my due diligence in researching what I wanted and Kimber came out on top. Pro Carry 2, CA model. Not sure if there's a difference between Cali and non Cali models. Anyways, it's a great shooter, damn accurate and functions flawlessly. We'll see how she performs over time. 300 rounds down range thus far; no ftf, fte, no malfunctions. Proud owner here

Very nice Pro, I assume (VZ) grips really nice addition.

I don't think the difference is in the pistols, just if it is on the "list."

I could be wrong...someone will correct me if I am.

Yes, VZ. Their craftsmanship is legit. And yes, the ever so dropping like flies "list".

Good looking gun. I like the way the lines transition from grip to grain to slide.
