Pics of my UCII after completing modifications!

modifications:
Smith & Alexander one piece Mag-well
G10 grips from E-Z grips
Premium Trigger from Kimber
Ambi-Safety (pinned) from Kimber
also picked up 5 magazines from Joe's and put the large pads on them
Going to hit them with bench top belt sander and make them .25" variety so they fit flush with the Mag-well.
I should mention I purchased the Ed Brown trigger sear jig and did my first trigger job on a 1911 I improved the take up it still has a little creep in it. I am going to disassemble it one more time and stone the sear a little more where the angle of the sear is suppose to be one third as much as the surface of the sear. Overall I am very pleased with my little Gunsmithing venture!

Pretty gun. I like seeing what other folks do to "trick out" their guns. It's kinda like being a teenager again: "Got a Holly four barrel, and some Centerlines, and a 4.11 posi..."

Good Job! I had a gritty trigger pull with my Colt Combat Elite that the EB Sear Jig fixed up nicely. I still lack the glass breaking feel of some of my professionally done trigger jobs, but for a DIY, no training, by the seat-of-my-pants, it is a good thing.
