Does anyone shoot the Sapphire pro II?

Have ordered one from the LGS for my wife, to replace the Glock 43 6+1. The Glock's a nice gun, but I think this pretty Kimber will catch her eye.

Welcome from Northeast, Pa.

I've never shot a Sapphire Pro but I bet it's similar to your Tactical Pro.

Sorry, can't help. I've got the Sapphire UC2, 3 inch barrel. I'm sure your wife will love it though, it's a beautiful pistol and an awesome Christmas gift! I've got a Glock 43 and it is not my favorite pistol, thinking of selling it. Good luck.

Yes, yes I do shoot the Sapphire Pro and Sapphire Ultra. The Pro is real sweet shooting, mine are both 9mm, I assume that's the caliber you are buying.

You have a Tactical Pro, I think that the difference you're going to find between them other then no magwell on the Sapphire will be strictly cosmetic. If your wife is comfortable shooting your Tactical Pro she's going to love the new Sapphire Pro. I think the Tactical line is one of the best that Kimber makes, my EDC is an Ultra Tactical.

Yes, 9mm. 124 gr, or 147 gr would be best for breakin?

Thanks so much for the feedback.

Got a good deal at the LGS. Well, not local, need to drive about 3-4 hours.

But that's part of the fun of the hunt.

Kimber recommends the 147gr for breakin however I have used 147 and 124 and a lot of 115gr without any malfunctions.

I find that the heavier loads (147 gr. for 9mm) usually mean less problems during break in, remember to clean the gun at around 100 round intervals until you reach the 500 round mark. JMHO
