well it was 17 degrees here this am
so I ventured to the big city of Glasgow to shoot at the indoor range they have there
started out shooting at 8 yds. from a ransom rest, shooting out the 1." bull's-eye was not an issue at all,
pistol was shooting about 1/2" low and left from point of aim, holes stacking up on top of them selves,
so I moved the target out to 15 yds. and still no problem putting a magazine into a 2.5" group,
then I moved it out to the 25yd mark , and was shooting off hand
it was still shooting great , head shots on the target was not a issue at all.
it might be me milking the gun causing the low left impacts, since its been a while since shooting 230 gr 45 ammo. so the next time to the range I will bring some tools to drift the rear sight if i continues shooting it low left.
however I did run 100 rds. of ammo, 50 blazer , 50 Aquila both in 230 FMJ, and also ran some 185 gr hornady hollow points to see that if would function with out issue, and it did
I did not have fun taking it down to clean afterwards
but I did get it done and I assume (hope) that I will get better at it!
