Touch up Slide on a Pro Carry II

The alloy slide on my Pro Carry II is beginning to show some wear.
Probably from constant carry in a Kydex holster (only the side that contacts the Kydex is showing any wear [bluing rubbing of].
What's the best and preferred way of touching up the slide?
Are there any "cold blue" products that will work?

Carry stainless, or settle for some wear. I've looked into this a long time ago, and nothing can refresh a factory finish, but a complete refinish.

My PCII 9mm did the same thing and you have to expect some wear from a carry gun. I ended up having a Cerakote refinish to the whole gun and it has held up much better than the KimPro finish that Yonkers puts on them...

You can get the slide done for less than $100 or the whole gun for just under $200 depending on who does it..

The gun will be stripped down to the bare aluminum and then Cerakoted and there are many options of colors to choose from...

I have a colt .357 that has wear from holstering. I wouldn't do anything to it other than keep it clean and rust free. I consider wear as the pistols personality and any firearm that becomes a sought after collector, gets devalued when it loses the original finish. JMHO
