Smile No Smiley Faces This Week End??

Didn't anyone go to the range over the weekend? I figured that there would be at least a coupe of attempts at a "shot/drawn" smiley face!! We don't care how good or bad they are. We just want to see your attempts!!

There has got to be at least one armed Leonardo di Vinci, Monet or Picasso out there!! Or we could call this "Shooting with the Stars" (referring to Mel Gibson's original range smiley!!) Maybe we could get a couple of celebrity shooters to contribute? How about Tom Selleck, Louise Mandrell, Chuck Norris, Sarah Palin, Julie Golob, Rob Leatham, Kay or Jerry Miculek showing what they can do?

This gets better all the time!! Send us you smileys, one and all!!!

I wanted to go try my new Solo but it just didn't work out. Maybe one night this week.

I NEVER go to the range on the weekends, too many "Weekend Warriors", "Jack Pine Savages" and "Chicago Bangers". I'm hoping to get over to the range on Tuesday.

OK... I did give it a shot...at 15 yds...1st shot nose...dead center forehead..a little high..feeling good..left eye on the edge of silhouette, but at eye level. (hell I M doinf OK)...right eye...6 inches high and off silhouette...mouth..to low near sternal notch..next one left side of chest..said "maybe next time"...put the next 45 shots at bullseye dot on nose and chest..tore it up probably one of my best days..but not even close to Smiley face..

Ok. I decided to go with the running one-legged alien instead of the smiley.
(Shit! I'll fix the pic later.)

I'm hoping to try this one soon. We were camping for the past 4 days - no paper targets along on this trip!

Here is the pic fixed. I tried the smiley from 21 feet. I just don't have enough control to do a mouth. Btw, the range got these new targets...instead of life-size, the body and head are about 2/3rd size and there is no ring in the middle of the chest. Don't like.

My wife took the youngest back to college and my oldest son took The Monster up to Niagra Falls, so I was all by myself Saturday and Sunday. I could do anything I wanted to...and I did. I went to shoot.
