Attn. Kimber Ultra/Compact 9mm Shooters

If anyone is looking for Ultra/Compact 9mm magazines I found a place that has them at a very reasonable price. First of all I can't tell these things apart from the ones Kimber sells.

It's not until you look on the bottom and see the Kimber name on one. I broke these two magazines down and compared the springs and followers and they are identical down to the patten number on the followers. Kimber charges $35.99 when they have them in stock, I've seen them as high as $39.99. I bought a pack of 5 of them for $79.99 ($15.99 ea) with free shipping from joes1911magmania.com, a company I've done business with in the past. This is just a heads up for any Ultra/Compact 9mm shooters.

Thanks for the heads up, Chuck.

Just ordered a couple 7 round mags for my Ultra - $30 for 2 mags, $10 for 5 bumper pads.

You guys are all welcome for the link, I just want to say I don't know anything about the quality of their .45 magazines. I took a chance and ordered the 9mm mags because they are so hard to find and high priced and I got lucky. If anyone is ordering .45 mags please write up a report when you get them so others will know whether they're a good deal or not.

Well since you brought it up. I bought a 3-pack from joe1911 when I got the Sapphire, then I bought the 5-pack. Like you stated except for the Kimber script on the bottom they are identical. Better yet I have used them to fire all the rounds (about 175) in the Sapphire. No magazines issues or failures of any type! I was going to test them a little more before promoting them but I think they will be fine, the price is pretty good. "Buy at will".

I do plan on buying some of his .45 magazines but I have not placed that order yet. My guess is that they will work fine, they are cheap enough that I will give them a chance.

I just wanted to say that I ran all 5 of the 9mm mags I bought from this place today and didn't have a single problem with any of them.

I had the exact same results when I used the ones I bought from the place.

I ran both of the .45 mags (7 round) today with no real issues. Had a couple problems getting a full mag to seat with a round in the chamber. I think it was more from my magwell being flush with the small bumpers I installed than a true issue with the mags.

I've had problems getting my kimber factory mags to seat when full. Usually have to give them a pretty firm whack.
