Kimber Pro Carry II - Used

Earlier this year, I happened to be in an LGS looking at some of the new and used 1911's. Just as I stepped to the counter, one of the guys put a used Kimber Pro Carry II in the display case. It was nearly pristine, and the price was right. The previous owner had traded it in on a new Tactical Ultra II. I was looking for a Commander-sized pistol, and this one fit the bill.

It was $675 OTD. I got it home, cleaned it, and took it to the range the next day. I ran 300+ rounds through it without a hiccup. I placed it into the carry rotation, along with my Colt LWT Commander, in .38 Super.

It was produced in 2003, according to Kimber. Someone took the time to send it someplace, probably Kimber, to have the front strap and bottom of the trigger guard checkered to the same LPI as the mainspring housing. Kimber advised that no Pro Carry II's were checkered as mine is. The only thing I've done to it, is to add a set of RAASCO micarta grips. It's carried in an El Paso Saddlery "Crosshair" holster.

Why not head over to the new members section and introduce yourself. Our members are a little leary of people who join just to sell something.

It would be crazy not to buy one for that price! Congrats.
