Super Carry Ultra HD 1st Range Visit

Was lucky enough to take the new Super Carry to the range yesterday, the day after I picked it up from the LGS.

Sent 100 rounds downrange (50 rounds of 230 gr Federal, 50 rounds of 230 gr Freedom Munitions Reman).

Overall impression: FANTASTIC PISTOL
Very well balanced, smooth trigger, accurate

Problems: grip on left side is loose (will fix with loctite later today),
one failure to feed - slide stayed open, round still fully inside mag, slide stop partially engaged

I was much more accurate with this model than with my Tactical Ultra. We'll see if that holds true for future range visits. Photo is the first 25 rounds at 7 yards. A few fliers, but not too bad IMHO.

Chickadee, now that's a pretty gun right there! Curious why you were noticeably more accurate with the Super Carry than the Tactical...Ammo type could make a difference also. You know black goes with everything so you could make that little beauty look different every week.

Nice little Ultra and good shooting. I use o-rings for grips that like to work loose. No chance of gumming things up and locking up the gun. It makes the screws stand up a bit but doesn't impact my grip or shooting at all.
Congrat's!

I'm impressed by both the beautiful gun and the great shooting.
