What is the lightest weight hammer spring that will work consistently. I have a 19# but would like to go lighter and still make it safe gor edc. Thanks

Personally I do not got lighter than 19 on the mainspring on the 5" guns. And would not lighter on the smaller without changing the firing pin stop radius in the least to slow the slide a bit. The mainspring generally makes little difference if any in the trigger pull weight.
Yea. Keep telling yourself that split times donít matter.

I'm just the opposite...I think hammer springs can lower trigger pulls some and have gone with 18# without problems.I work on my sears with a couple of jigs and with all the info I've collected with my obsession working on sears, I have trigger pulls that are amazing. I decided to sell my P/C 2 in 9mm after running out of possible upgrades and achieving the accuracy I was after, for a 45 caliber something...wanted the Colt Willey Clapp model but it was so poorly made I moved on to a Dan Wesson Valor VBob in 45cal./4.25in. with the Black finish thats actually a stainless steel gun.....wanted to mention that I put the stock hammer spring back in the PC2 before selling and it still had 3.5# crisp pull...also haven't touched the Dan Wesson insides and it's already at 3.5#
