Picked up a Ultra CDP ii for my Micro 9 Raptor

Well, I fell off the Micro 9 train and I think I got the better end of the bargain. I traded my like new Micro 9 Raptor with a few extra mags and holsters for a mint ultra cdp ii in 9mm. I think I did well on the trade and will have to get use to the 9mm in this platform since all I've known for these 3" kimbers were the 45acp's.

I've seen the sticky on where the best deal on mags is and I really don't want 5 of them. I asked the seller to sell me 2 and he said not at this time. Anyone using these in the ultra 1911's? Metalform Mag 1911 Officer 9mm Luger 8-Round Steel Flat Follower

I think you came out the winner in that trade. I've got the same gun and it's a sweet shooter. The only magazines I've used in it are Kimbers and Joe's and I've never had a problem with either brand.

You can never have too many magazines.

All right, i think i'll spring for Joe's then. I can always sell a few once I get them I guess. Yeah I agree totally, and already have a nice IWB being made for it from Reds.

I agree with Chuck. You made a smoking hot trade. I have the CDP Ultra in .45 but a Ultra Carry in 9mm. The CDP is my EDC and I would not hesitate to carry the 9mm UC if need be.

I don't think you will find a need to sell any of Joes magazines once you have them in hand. I have a lot of them and always need more.

If you decide you don't need three of them send them to me!

I use the Metalform mags with the Springfield type ramp-they work very well in my Aegis. They usually run around $25.00 or so and can be ordered from Brownells or Midway the cheapest.

I have two of the Metalform magazines. They are doing the job at this point (170 rounds). I'm planning to get some mags that seem more robust.

I know, I really loved my little raptor and offered the trade with the expectations that they would say go pound sand. After a little thought the deal was done and I couldn't be more thrilled!
