Need a 1911 holster suggestion

Looking for a belt holster for my 1911. I would prefer leather, outside the belt, and left handed. Any suggestions ?

Garvfam - Have you ever considered making your own hand stitched custom holder and mag pouch using leather? It's really not that difficult. The end result is very rewarding and exactly what your looking for - a custom, hand stitched leather holster that is of better quality than any store bought holster. I made one for my Kimber Ultra CDP II for less than $25.00 (including USMC Black leather dye). The leather was a piece of 6-8oz vegetable tanned leather from Tandy. They always have leather on sale. Let me show what I mean.

Galco Concealable. Comes in black or brown, and is cheaper if you buy from MidwayUSA.

Don't forget the holster belt; needs to be stout leather.

I have a huge box of "perfect" holsters. You will get many suggestions since everyone's tastes are different. My suggestion is get a big box...and good luck on your hunt.

RDWarrenleather.com is my go to for a 1911 holster. Not sure if he does LH though. Worth and email.

Here is a pic of the first one he did for me.

Here is my second rig. Sorry for double and triple posting, but I cannot load multiple pics from this bleeping iPad. This is now my standard DC rig.

Here is my "I have to go into downtown Milwaukee" rig. Surprising how comfortable it is.

I keep my eyes peeled on Armslist and at the gunshow for "tried them and hate them" holsters. I have a whole box of holsters I have picked up used that were essentially like new in the $5-$20 range this way.
