You'll never regret buying one of these.

I don't feel a need for a loader on my .45s (or even my .40) but a Maglula loader saves both my wife's and my thumbs on her nines. For high capacity magazines, some sort of loader is almost a necessity.

I have that loader and it works great. I've found that it's easy for me to load my .45s without it, but the .40 S&W rounds get my fingers sore more quickly. For me, the smaller sized rounds get harder to load in the mags than the .45. That loader is a life saver!

The .45's are easy for only a few rounds but I'm sometimes loading 30 or more magazines at a time.

Yup the maglula is the one I use. Works on 9 mm and .45 acp. I got lucky the day I bought mine. Santee Swap meet $5.00

What all the others said! I've had one for years and when I finally got tired of finding it in my lovely wife's range bag, I bought her one!

Not only works for my 45 & 9 but she uses it for her Sig P238.

Wish I would have thought of that idea first!

Mag loader...

These guys got it right. I shoot a Sig 9mm, with 15 rd mags and I usually load 10 to 15 mags to take to the range...OUCH! I bought two Maglulas...one for my bench and one for my range bag. Won't leave for the range without one.

Agree that 1911 .45 mags aren't too bad until you have loaded one 10 times or so. But the last two or three rounds in those 15 rounders are a bear ...a big bear. Get one ...or two
