Kimber Custom 2 Two Tone 45acp

To all: I am new to this forum, and am contemplating my first Kimber purchase. I have my eye on a Custom 2 Two Tone 45acp. I have a preference for three dot sights. I have seen some photos of the Custom 2 Two Tone's without three dot sights, but have also seen photos of a Custom Two in a box marked Two Tone 2017 that does have three dot sights. Do the 2017 production Guns have three dot sights, or should I expect to have to have them installed if I buy one? Thanks very much!

In looking at the 2018 Kimber catalog, it shows the Custom Two-Tone as having white three-dot sights.

No mention of tritium or fiber optic for this model.

Every Kimber 1911 I own that did not come with tritium night sights had the slide sent to the factory for purchase and installation. When these slides came back from the mother ship, POI was absolutely perfect.

Way to go Kimber!

I have a 2016 Two Tone, it came with black sights. It is my EDC so I don't let them bother me. From everything I have gathered when stuff gets real sights aren't that much of an issue during a massive adrenaline dump.

That said, I would like to install some night sights on it when cheddar permits.

You picked an awesome weapon Mister! You won't be dissapointed!

Just finished adding some parts to my Custom II, Kimber OEM of course, to make it a complete two tone. Wanted to add a black trigger but the trigger setup on this gun is so sweet I did not want to alter it in any way.

Arched MSH
Black MSH pin
Black hardwood grips
Thumb safety
Slide release
Mag release
Hammer pin
Sear pin
Black Chip McCormick magazines - 2

My Custom Two Tone is a 2016 that came with black sights. It's the gun I purchased specifically for my .460 Rowland conversion and I couldn't be happier with it.

Couldn't take it any longer guys, had to have the black trigger! It is a genuine Kimber part, it took a slight adjustment with the screw,
same pull as before, whew!
