Range report Camp Guard

Took a trip to the range with the 10mm today with a modified slide lock from Kimber and the gun ran great, no slide lock issues. I was shooting armscor, sig, and American eagle. I also had not done a thorough cleaning since the last time out. Had some mags with all 3 loads mix in and still did well. The American Eagle ammo is the only brand that has had a ftf on occasion. But I'm up to 500rds now and gun is getting better all the time. Think I will start looking for hunting loads and defense loads now.

Nice that it's all smoothing out for you.

How would you describe the recoil on that thing, compared, say, to a classic 1911 45acp?

After a good cleaning and lube I think your next range trip will have better results. Good luck.

It's definite has more snap but honestly I like that. Definitely controllable and I like the round heel. I wasn't sure about that at first but now I'm thinking about a super carry ultra+ as a carry gun.

Good choice, I've been looking for a deal on a used Super Carry Ultra+ myself.

Let me know what you are going to do with your old out of date square butt grip 1911's!

LMAO, it don't matter...probably not on your CA "list" anyway.

What would you buy if you didn't have to abide by the list?
