8/9 outing :-)

IMG_0423.JPGAs always, no problems with the PRO CDPII 9mm. It's been some time since I shot so my trigger pull has gotten a little rough though :-(
Today I brought a box of Fiocchi 124gr FMJ and a box of Aguilla 124gr FMJ. Three Wilson Combat 10 round mags and two Kimber 9 rounders.
Fun pistol to shoot :-)
...the head and #2 on the target were at 7 yards, the center was about 12 yards and #3 was at 25 yards from the bench.

Looks good to me too! Nice looking pistol. Geez, I never practice at 25 yards, can you actually see that #3 from that far out...hahaha....you still it hit it though!

I doubt I could see it at 25; I might as well just throw the bullets if it's that far away.

Wink Nice Going!!

Looks good, Mark.

If you do some dry firing with that CDP it will help to build your trigger control and smooth out the trigger at the same time. I like to do my dry firing while watching TV. I use the bad guys as targets!!

Of course you dry fire with an unloaded pistol! Verify physically (stick your pinky in the chamber) and visually. Then leave all ammo in another room while you are dry firing. Thus leaving no margin for error!! A 9mm is hell on a television screen, not to mention the wall behind it!!

There went a zombie on The Walking Dead!!! OOPS! Zombie is dead and so is the boob tube!!

Thanks Starnovi, yah that 3 was looking small way back there. Keep in mind those shots were taken while braced on the bench. Not sure what would have happened had I been standing :-)

...good advice Keith. I had run 100 rounds through my .380 prior to firing the 9mm and was searching for the correct finger position on the trigger.
...out of curiosity, when you hunt these zombies do you use snap caps in your center fire guns?
