Show my your Raptors w/grips!

I just got my full size 9mm Raptor. I was shocked at how much more accurate it is compared to a small, double action trigger Kahr Mk9. Mine has the light tan wood grips, and I was wondering what your modded ones look like.

I'm also considering a crimson laser grip. Here's my best group on my first time out with it with the stock night sights.

Wink Ultra Raptor

I just purchased my Stainless Ultra Raptor II a few months ago. While I usually stick my fingers into pistols and change a few things around to make them more ME, I have not messed with the grips on my Raptor. I'm pretty much sure that would come close to being sacrilege!! My grips are as the French so eloquently say, "au naturel"!!

The Ultra is not a bad shooter either! Note 50 rounds on a 10 yard target! Not bad for a fat, old ex-Lineman, huh?

Post pictures of your Raptor, please.

I have a 5" Raptor in 45 and it's my favorite gun but a also have a 5" 9mm Springfield 1911 and I love this 9mm for a target gun. You feel like your shooting a .22 and the accuracy is amazing. The Raptor is a beautiful gun have fun at the range.

Ultra and Custom Raptor, grips are light Zebrawood, all mine are pretty close to the same color. I have seen some darker versions.

Playing around one day put a spare set of Raptor grips on the SIS Custom.

Welcome to the forum from GA. Nice shooting, not sure why you would need a laser with groupings like that! I love the look of the Raptor grips! I wouldn't change mine out for CTLG or any other grip mainly because the grips are already great looking and I would never be carrying the full size Raptor to need LG. I have CTLG on my Micro 9 and I haven't really decided whether I like them or not. Of course, they are phenomenally accurate to point and shoot, but I can't always get them to stay on no matter how hard I squeeze with my middle finger, and sometimes the laser is slightly blocked by base of my trigger finger. Hands are small, might be why I can't keep it on, but not sure about the blocking part.

I tried changing them just once!

Some guy in Monroe would not talk to me until I put he stockers back on. To be honest with you in the case of the Raptor the stock grips do look the best. You could change them for shooting purposes as long as you did take any photos of the Raptor in that configuration. Whatever you decide do not sell the originals if you ever sell the Raptor more than likely you would probably get quite a bit more with the oem scale cut grips on it or at least available.

I have a Crimson carry and I hate the laser. I do love the Raptors in factory dress though!

here's my raptor. You guys are right, crimson laser isn't needed on it, I just need more practice. I want to be able to draw a smiley face at 7 yards.

The scales on the stock grips are beautiful, I just wish they were darker.
