Night sights for custom crimson carry II

I have a new custom crimson carry II, love it, except I would prefer illuminated sights instead of the flat black. Even with the laser, I still automatically use the sights. On the Kimber web site they show meprolight sights and they and many places all seem to be out of stock. It looks like folk on amazon have been sold old stock units with much of the 10 year like already used up. Any recomendations on great alternatives for fixed sights with tritium?

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois Maineiac64, have you tried looking at the night sights in Kimbers store?

I put Ameriglow sights on my CCCII. I am NOT impressed. I do not recommend them. They are weak. They are not even easy to see with the lights on.

The Meprolight on my SCUHD have an outstanding glow. Hope you're able to find some.

Welcome to the site. I would recommend the Meprolight as well, but you may want to call Kimber directly. I have found the folks on the phone will know how to 'find' what you are looking for.

Here is the answer to your dilemma: Trijicon Night Sight Set Kimber 1911 Steel Matte 3-Dot Tritium Green

I have these Trijicon sights on my Kimber Pro Carry II. They fit good and work great. Midway USA always has them in stock. That green glow showing up on the night stand at night is very comforting!!!

If I ever replace the sights on my CCCII again, I'll go with the TruGlo TFO because they glow and have the fiber optic in the front.
